Yes, Han Hoogerbrugge has made a pop video for The Pet Shop Boys. Yes, he has produced work for Sony, Mitsubishi, Diesel, MTV, Motorola, Unilever, Comcast & Miller Beer. But that is not what he is most well known for. He is mostly known for his iconic images and illustrations. His work is striking, poignant, hilarious and brilliant. We are delighted to have Han speaking this year!

Lee Brimelow was born in the UK, moved to Rhode Island then lost his English accent because kids teased him. He now wishes he had it back! He was a skateboarder and a ski bum but injury forced him into taking photos and video for snowboarding magazines. He had suddenly discovered his creative side!

He has worked as a security guard at Intel, faked his portfolio of sites to get into web development, landed a job at AOL Netscape, then eBay, then through fortune and chance landed a job at Adobe where he has become one of the best loved evangelists in the world.

When not on-the-road, Greg spends his time with his MacBook Pro on his lap, or teaching his two sons the finer points of classic rock on the guitar and piano.

He was the original GoLive Cyberstudio Product Manager and former Dreamweaver Technical Product Manager, he is now the Principal Evangelist for Adobe Systems, focusing on Adobe?s open web products and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.

Tomek is a hybrid between designer and programmer. One of the winners of FOTB2010 Elevator Pitch, he performed 3 minute live plastic surgery on himself, much to the audiences delight!

His spot left many thinking that he had become the new hope for online beauty clinics. He cannot deny a deep and live long relationship with retro computers. When not coding he either plays bass or puts a VJ mask on.

andreas RONNING

Andreas is a musician, no, he's a programmer, no, he's a gamer, no, he's all of that.

He likes random anythings that pop into his head, then he just wants to throw down somewhere.

He's also a notorious rant factory, and he curses like a sailor, harr, arr.

joel gethin LEWIS

This guy is inspirational with a capital 'I'. He has a 'everything's possible' attitude, and if it seems impossible, Joel will find a way.

Working on the most amazing visually stunning projects, Joel has done everything from dance pieces, to creating interactive Twitter surfaces for Coke, to making crowd based building scale interactive projections.

Jared is from Texas. When he tells you that he plays guitar with his twin brother in their geek rock band, you would swear he said 'Geeyek Raawk Band'.

Jared was one of the knockout presenters in 2009, arriving in the UK with all sorts of equipment, kit and paranaphelia to wow the attendees. And wow them he did!

hillman CURTIS

Hillman is a new media designer, author, and filmmaker. In 2002 Canoe Magazine called him the Pope of Flash after he produced new sites for Yahoo & Adobe.

Now Hillman concentrates on film. As a filmmaker he first gained notoriety with his online 'Artist Series' - short documentaries on designers/artists including Milton Glaser, Paula Scher, David Carson, Stefan Sagmeister, James Victore, Pentagram Design Group.

Zatepyakin, now that's a great name! Eugene loves experimenting with code. Everything that he touches on seems interesting to him.

He's into generative art, math algorithms, image processing, 3D stuff, and augmented reality. Oh, and he's Russian. You didn't realise?

James Victore is AMAZING! He is an independent graphic designer whose clients include Moet & Chandon, Target, Amnesty International, the Shakespeare Project, The New York Times & MTV.

He has been awarded an Emmy for television animation, a Gold Medal from the Broadcast Designers Association, and Gold and Silver Medals from the New York Art Director?s Club.

His posters are in the permanent collections of the Palais du Louvre, the Library of Congress.

When it comes to wanting 3D in your Flash content, pretty much everyone has heard of Papervision3D.

Before creating the Open Source engine, Carlos developed Playstation & PC titles at Psygnosis and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Since then, he has moved on to high-end development with Unity and now WebGL.

joa EBERT

Joa is a mathametical genius! Year after year he leaves several hundred attendees with open jaws, wondering how the hell he does it!

A few years back Joa stunned the attendees with 10 minutes speed coding which ended with the most awesome pulsating music driven dancing object. To top it all, we then all learned that he uses a totally black keyboard with no lettering, numbers or symbols!

jon HOWARD

Jon is one hugely talented guy. He thinks up, and builds some of the coolest, most fun games for kids that you will find.

Using his kids to test his creations, once he has their approval, he then unleashes them on the rest of the little people through the BBC's CBeebies website.

At FOTB09 Tom gave a 3 minute Elevator Pitch. His was one of the most popular Pitches, and got voted in the top 3.

He is one of the top guys developing Flash Games at the moment. As soon as we released his 3 minute talk on Vimeo, its plays went through the roof!

We are delighted to have him back this year giving us a full hour of his brand of game development. Big into AS3 & Sound for games, his session is going to be packed!

A former geneticist, his digital art practice explores the many-folded boundaries between science and art. Recently, his work has been featured by The New York Times, The Guardian, BusinessWeek and the CBC.

Jer's passion for data visualisation have lead him to produce some absolutely stunning images on a plethora of subjects.

When he is not programming, Mike can be found playing Halo, trying to recover from his World of Warcraft addiction, or playing with his two daughters.

Born in Oslo to a Norwegian father and Chilean mother, Paulo has ants in his pants. He grew up in Spain, Norway, USA, Bahamas and the Cayman Islands.

He is massively talented and respected in the dev community and formed a major part of the awesome team who produced the FOTB iPhone App for the past 2 years.

Sarah is THE User Interface person for iOS devices. She regularly travels the world speaking at major events.

Chris Georgenes (jor-JEE-ness) has been able to carve a unique niche for himself using Flash.

His self-taught animation experiments were the stepping stones of what has become a regular source of income.

He has been an Art Director for multiple animation projects for TV and online, and his clients include Cartoon Network, Dreamworks, ABC, NBC, FX, Comedy Central & Shockwave.com.

What can we say about Rich Shupe? The Shupster. He is founder of his own training and development company, FMA, and has been teaching ActionScript programming to students of all levels since the language became available.

His book - Learning ActionScript 3.0 (A Beginner's Guide) , is one of the best selling beginners AS3 books around. Just know this: Ricardo de Shupster knows his onions!

James White has been drawing since I was 4 years old. His client list reads like a who's who of Blue Chip companies - Toyota, Wired, Google, Nike, Diesel, MTV, Universal, VH1 and Armada Skis!

He openly admits liking Sabbath, Iron Maiden & Judas Priest! We say anyone who has worked with Armada Skis is forgiven ANYTHING! Now........ how can we get our hands on some of those skis?

Not many people know that Angie worked with D-Fuse designing animation for cutting-edge Beck DVD 'Guero' and provided animation for the controversial Aphex Twin / Chris Cunningham collaboration 'Rubber Johnny'. When it comes to After Effects - she is the go-to-guy!

David Lenaerts is a freelance Actionscipt 3 (Flash/Flex) developer. His strong preference toward visually applied mathematics and physics has got him noticed by many of his peers.

When he's not coding, he is a wanna-be music composer and video game enthusiast (although he admits, it's mainly for the graphics).

Stray likes to point out that girls can code too. She says, 'to be honest, these days nobody says we can't, but there's an assumption that developers are male (I meet it on the web all the time), and I believe there's a lack of female voices in the software development world'. 'I wanted to do something about that'. We totally agree with you Stray, and are delighted that you want to do something about it!

Seb is a digital wizardy visual effects artisty guy! 3D, interfaces, particles, motion detection, physics, he's the man. He always brings his 'A' game to FOTB, wowing people with everything from game show exposure of the way people think of Flash, to projecting an interactive fireworks display on buildings around the event.

Jon Burgerman has received a Cannes Lions Advertising award, two D&AD Silver award nominations and has collaborated with some of the worlds leading brands that include: Pepsi, CocaCola, Nike, Sony, Sky, Kidrobot, Puma, Nintendo, MTV, Levis, 55DSL, Miss Sixty, AOL, Size? and Rip Curl.

His art has appeared on t-shirts, trainers, as plastic figurines, on office walls, on hoardings, skateboards and even a sick bag (for Virgin Atlantic!).

Cyriak Harris is British. He might be slightly barmy. Actually, that's the way we like him.

His work is awesomely hilarious, and he took FOTB2010 by storm!

Better known as Cyriak, he displays a surreal and sometimes disturbing animation style with a distinct British theme.

Many of his animations are based on Z-List celebrities, television shows and his hometown of Brighton.

richard GALVAN

Richard is one of the best known product managers

His air miles must be off the chart because he is requested to speak at so many events

In early 2009 Stefan was named as one of the most influential, innovative, and important people in the European online video space as part of the 'Streaming Media Dream Team 2009', selected by Streaming Media Magazine.

Apart from being a streaming expert and author, he is also the guy behind Scribblar, a web based collaboration tool that has gained great popularity amongst teachers and online tutoring providers.

dr. WOOHOO!

Dr Woohoo has won over 50 awards including 'Communication Arts Interactive Award for Self-promotion'.

As a generative artist, he is part of an influential set of modern day alchemists using programming and natural media.

His approach is commonly found in artificial intelligence but Woohoo considers it 'serious fun'.

Eva-Lotta speaks fluent German, English & French. She has worked as Design Lead at Skype & Interaction Designer at Yahoo. In 2010 she went freelance and now concentrates on User Experience & Interface and Web Design. Oh, and her illustrations and sketchbooks are truly amazing!

Frank has 2 sides to him. Nerd & non-nerd! He says 'if I'm not sitting in front of my PC, I like climbing, jogging and doing thing's that are not so nerdy as my digital ego'.

Most people know the Frank who is into vortex's, raymarching, WebGL & 3D. On the side he also develops apps, gadgets, games and websites for the likes of Citroen, Renault, Joop, Loreal, Lufthansa and Microsoft.
